The ZS Chair is a made-to-measure manual zero-gravity recliner with a classic design and personalised spinal support. It is made around your body and preferred sitting position, helping you find a comfortable posture for relaxing, reading, watching television, or resting.

Made-to-measure spinal support

Every ZS Chair is individually measured to suit you. During your consultation, we assess:

• Your individual back and neck shape
• Seat depth
• Sitting height
• Seat width
• Arm height
• Back angle

These measurements help create a chair that provides personalised spinal support and a comfortable, balanced sitting position.

You can also choose from a selection of fabrics, colours, and leg finishes to suit your home and personal style.

Your consultation and measurements

You are welcome to visit The Back Shop for a personal consultation. Using our patented measuring chair, we sit you in the correct sitting posture and measure around you, including your spine, leg height, and seat width.

If you cannot travel to us, our on-site measuring service allows you to have your consultation in the comfort of your own home. Please contact us to discuss availability and arrange an appointment.

Manual zero-gravity reclining

The ZS Chair is a manual recliner designed to provide a comfortable, supported reclining position. Its zero-gravity design helps you relax while maintaining a balanced posture, making it suitable for everyday use and periods of rest.

Once your measurements, fabric, colour, and finish choices have been confirmed, your ZS Chair is made specifically for you.

Made-to-measure home chairs, including recliners and non-reclining chairs, take approximately 10 to 12 weeks from measurement to completion.

All our made-to-measure home recliners and non-reclining chairs are made with a beech timber frame, providing a strong and durable foundation for long-term use.

Delivery

Delivery rates for home chairs, sofas, and beds outside the Dublin Metropolitan Area may fluctuate due to changes in our courier provider. For the most accurate delivery quotation, please contact us directly.
