Your consultation and measurements

You are welcome to visit The Back Shop for a personal consultation. Using our patented measuring chair, we sit you in the correct sitting posture and measure around you, including your spine, leg height, and seat width.

If you cannot travel to us, our on-site measuring service allows you to have your consultation in the comfort of your own home. Please contact us to discuss availability and arrange an appointment.

Built to last

All our made-to-measure home recliners and non-reclining chairs are made with a beech timber frame, providing a strong and durable foundation for long-term use. Once your measurements, fabric, color, and finish choices have been confirmed, your Queen Anne Chair is made specifically for you. Made-to-measure home chairs, including recliners and non-reclining chairs, take approximately 10 to 12 weeks from measurement to completion.
